River's Edge vocalist John Wishon has been traveling the country since 1997 preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of the River's Edge services include John preaching and the group singing. The very moment John accepted the call to preach he knew that evangelism and revival was his passion. John began his ministry the very next Sunday in a local church and his ministry travels now take him up and down the east coast. His enthusiasm, humor, unique delivery, and ability to make the text come to life have put John in much demand for campmeetings, revivals, conferences, and special services. John is also the owner of WWWC Radio in Wilkesboro, NC. The Christian radio station broadcasts the best in Christian Music 24 hours a day over the air and on the internet at www.hometownchristianradio.com. During his radio career he has been awarded the Small Market DJ of the Year, and has been in the top 5 finalists for that award over a dozen times. WWWC has also been the recipient of the AM Radio Station of the year.

Blessed with a dynamic singing voice and an exciting stage presence, Cheri delights in a Gospel music thrust at concerts and special events to present the Word of God to her audience. Before becoming a solo performer and recording artist, she traveled with a local Gospel group in her home area of Santa Claus, Indiana. As a soloist, Cheri has won three Gospel talent searches and has had considerable national radio airplay with her music. Her latest recording project, Sing Hallelujah, is a collection of songs ranging from the beautifully arranged “God’s Great Love” to the bouncy, exciting “Trumpet of Jesus”. Familiar songs from the hymnal are here along with brand new music from some of today’s most talented writers. |

Preacher - Dr Russell Kidman Dr. Russell Kidman was deployed to Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm during the Liberation of Kuwait in 1990-1991. He was a Sergeant serving as a Fire direction NCO and secondary Chemical Specialist for Alpha Battery 2nd Battalion 29th Field Artillery Unit. They were deployed as General Support Reinforcement to 42nd Brigade and 3rd Armor Division under General Tommy Franks. Brother Kidman and his wife have a firsthand understanding of what the Soldier who is deployed as well as their family who is left behind are experiencing. Most people see the Soldier coming home but fail to realize the struggles of returning home and readjusting to civilian life and family. This is where Brother Kidman applies his experience and knowledge of God’s Word to help our Soldiers and their Families from a Biblical perspective. |

Their style of Southern Gospel has deep roots in the traditional sounds of the Rex Nelon singers, Hemphills, and Gold City but with a breath of new life. Adding acoustics rather than orchestrations and vocals that are not stacked and over-produced. Their newest CD, "Farther Down the Road" has garnered multiple charting songs. The title track, "Farther Down the Road," crossed over to the Singing News Bluegrass charts and climbed to #13, and was played on the Les Butler & Friends Bluegrass Gospel Radio Show countdown. Curtis' personal testimony song, "God Knows," climbed to #51 on the Singing News Southern Gospel charts. Their most requested song,"Shepherd of My Soul" climbed to #46, and their most recent song (featuring special guest Karen Peck Gooch) reached #50 in Singing News charts!
